Take "Windows" as an example

USB Connection>

Bluetooth Connection>

Plug the USB connector into the computer.

Connect with the power bank during portable use.
Connect with the car charger while driving.

 

1. Download and launch QGIS>

2. Identify the port number associated with the P-7 Pro.

3. Click "View" - "Toolbars".

4. Check the box for GPS Toolbar.

5. Click the "Wrench" icon and select "GPS Settings".

 

 

6. Select "Serial device".

 

7. For USB connection, choose "Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Enhanced COM Port";
For Bluetooth connection, select the "Standard Serial over Bluetooth link".

8. Click the Connect icon.

9. If the system displays "Connected to GPS device", the P-7 Pro has been successfully connected.

Using "macOS" as an Example

1. Download and launch QGIS>

2. Connect the P-7 Pro to macOS. For details, refer to>

 

3. Click "View" - "Toolbars".

4. Check the box for "GPS Toolbar".

5. Click the "Wrench" icon and select "GPS Settings".

 

 

6. Select "Serial device".

 

7. For USB connection, choose "tty.SLAB_USBtoUART: CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller (Enhanced Port)";
For Bluetooth connection, select "tty.P-7ProSPP".

 

8. Click the "Connect icon".

9. If the system displays "Connected to GPS device", the P-7 Pro has been successfully connected.
